THE BOTTOM LINE

Wet slab avalanche problem on steep Southerly aspects.  Warm overnight temperatures and steady winds accumulate to wet the snowpack destablizing an old weak layer and increasingly, the entire snowpack to the ground; creating risk of deep wet slab avalanches.
