Danger level 3
THE BOTTOM LINE

Storm total accumulations of 70cms. at Kangdoori with winds from the SW.  Dangerous avalanche conditions due to poor bonding to the old snowpack in combination to wind loading and wind slab avalanche risk.  This problem will improve significantly over the next 24 hours with forecasted daytime warm temperatures and night-time freezing temperatures.  By waiting to enter the alpine backcountry for an additional 24 hours, you are likely to see a reduced degree of avalanche risk.
