THE BOTTOM LINE

Strong Southerly winds have produced poorly bonded slab on North thru Northeast alpine aspects. This problem will become worse and will grow to cover all alpine aspects during warming mid-day temperatures. A single skier will likely trigger large avalanches. The alpine risk is CONSIDERABLE. Below treeline is LOW.

Please make very conservative decisions in entering the alpine backcountry today.
